The study included all types of physical activity, ranging from childcare, housework, lawn-mowing and fishing to cycling, going to the gym, running and skiing. Exercise reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes, and mortality from all causes. Exercise can boost your mood, concentration and alertness. It can even help give you a positive outlook on life.

A balanced diet includes a variety of foods, which means it has
foods from all food groups, including protein, grains, dairy, and fruits and
