What should be done to remove the feeling of inferiority or guilt from the mind? One day, my friend Shankar Dhungana poured out his inner pain to me. He asked me about his worries of inferiority complex. He further added the numbness also comes so much that he can neither sleep nor sit still. Even when he stands in front of others, he feels that he can’t do anything in this life.

He says, “Sometimes, I start to complain about my weakness in the progress of others. I am thinking that I am a valueless fellow who does not have secure future. I am living in feeling of uncertainty. I am feeling so fed up. I think if it continues like this, I will become a mental patient in the future. Hey, I can never feel mentally strong, what should I do?”

Mr. Dhungana is a Teacher from Nepal a country of the South Asia. Nepal is very famous for its natural and scenic beauty  the high Himalaya Range with Mt. Everest, the highest peak in the world. Nowadays, because of political instability and increasing rate of corruption in every sectors as well as economic recession has collapsed its own position. People are frustrated in the nation and flying more than two thousands Nepaii to abroad each day for better future. The brain drain is increasing day by day. The situation is very sarcastic. “If the brain drain is continued in this way, one day the nation will be empty and after ten years it will be changed into an old homage.’ Said Dhungana.

Many of his friends  have settled in the USA, Canada, Australia and EU. He had also great chance to go to abroad but he did not thought about it. Because of his patriotic feeling, he quit the abroad plan. Now, he is cursing himself and has fallen in inferior complex. His current working place the government high school has been destroyed mainly by bad political situation of the country. Sometimes the school  ruined by Maoist, sometimes UML and sometimes Nepali Congress. School is a perfect playground of political exercise. School is becoming mess by day by day due to fact that more than the teachers who teach in the school are pulling the leg of own colleague, busy in back biting, show the weaknesses of others, become a leader of own mother party and mainly they believe in favoritism and insider and outsider.

The behaviors of his friends and the pitiable temporary job make him feel very  inferior. Now he has very few options either to leave the job or to be a mentally disturb person. He insists,” Yesterday or today, I am increasingly dissatisfied with my job.”  In the present time, extreme economic crisis, lack of money, fear  feeling of loosing current job and uncertain future of tomorrow have added to the sense of inferiority. Because of this, his mental health is getting weaker day by day. He is living a stressful life. Nepal’s tumultuous political and social conditions have also affected his school and he is unable to trust anyone. 

Mr. Dhungana can be blamed as an unaware man. Even his job was temporary because he was not aware earlier.  As long as I was old, I never thought about becoming permanent, he was saying.  When it should be permanent, if knowledge is gained, then age is reduced to 40.  What to do now?  The job is a relief or temporary. But when will it be permanent?He has a regular question asked by everyone in the society, "Sir, when will your job be permanent?"

 The government did not conduct annual teacher selection exams during our time.  Shankar says, "We have always worked energetically, tried to make the organization better and still are. But when we are treated as incompetent due to our age and dissatisfaction with our performance, it is heartbreaking. We have experience, we have patience, we have discipline.  There is, but we were not given training for character development according to the schedule, we were not given facilities and an energetic state of mind was not created to run according to the schedule. It is not our teacher's fault, it is the government's and related agencies' fault."

 This year, the government was about to introduce a new education law in which temporary teachers were given a chance to undergo a competitive examination and made permanent, but that law has also been stalled.  Which makes his suspicious mind more and more suspicious.  His working life is suffering from inferiority complex. His mental health is very fragile right now due to heavy mental stress. He is trying to recollect his inner power to resist the inferiority complex. How to remove his regular feeling of inferiority? 

Let's suggest him to follow the given tips to remove inferiority complex from the mind immediately: 

1.       Its Substantial:  Everything is substantial in this material world. You must believe on you. You are the one, who understands yourself easily. Do not lose your faith upon you. Leave all the nonsense persons and their nonsense comments. You must do your duty. If job is also gone, busy in any type of work whatever handy with you.

2.       Its Momentous:  A period of momentous can change your life. You must consider about the momentous of current situations. You should think about your potentiality.  If you are educated then start tuition classes, be a writer and achieve some  momentous. It helps to judge your own capability and you are an important person in the society.

3.       Its Considerable:  You have to think that you are a distinguished guest like others in this mortal world. Nobody live longer in this world, one day everyone has to depart from here. So, don not count your mistakes and faults. Think about your energy of mind and body, collect it and use it for another opportunity, you will get considerable sum of success. It enhances your mental health strong.

4.       Its Prominent:  You are an important person sent by the god to do certain duty.  You are a noticeable man. You have your own value that cannot be compared with others.  Your life is prominent. Never listen others negative remarks, just listen what your ears wants to listen. You must focus on your ongoing job. 

5.       Its Noteworthy:  You are the boss of your own world. Do not listen them who pull your legs regularly. You are a notable character. Your unique identity cannot match with others. Think that if one door is close then another door will open. This world is the world of possibilities.  Be positive always your stress will down.

6.       Its Meaningful:  Your life is valuable and you have some special excellence. Your presence can be ignored by some fools but wiser cannot ignore you. You must not feel shy and embarrass, keep continue your hard work. You should count that everything is meaningful in this beautiful world. If you have less money, spends less. You must follow the normal life. Do not try to imitate others. It helps you to decrease stress.

7.       Its remarkable: You are a remarkable man. It is a remarkable achievement being a human in the world. Do not feel inferior to others; your identity is not compared with others all the time. You must hear your voice of the soul. Do not do follow showy persons. Connect with those who take you easy.
